Sunshine Committee - Announces monthly birthday and anniversaries of membership. Corresponding secretary works alongside this committee as she sends out cards for all announcements regarding joys and concerns electronically.
Mail List Committee - List Administrator and an assistant manage the list by adding and deleting new and existing members and maintaining the list with regard to postings and bounces. There is a list owner and moderators usually. It does help to have one officer on here usually the president. Web Development Committee - Contains a webmaster and an assistant in the event the website cannot be maintained. First names are only used and non-specific locations of the membership to protect identities and privacy. No members e-mail address shall be published as this is to remain private. General non-descriptive addresses will be published. Rushing Committee - The vice president is in charge of this committee as she is in charge of rushing new members from the weekly lists sent from the rushing department in the International Office in Kansas City, MO. Secret Sisters or Beta Buddies is optional for the chapter - members send cards and gifts to the paired member they have for the sorority year. |
Social Committee - Consists of three members that alternate and plan online socials and activities monthly with members by visiting themed activities that include visiting websites, You Tube videos, playing games online, or touring cultural events of places.
Service Committee - Surveys the membership for causes they wish to support online or offline. click to give and freerice.com are just a few of the many projects that are supported by our sisterhood. Our international office accepts donations for sister supported causes as well. Program Committee - Surveys membership by posting e-mails of the members that have signed up to do a program during the meeting days. Each member should do one program a year and participate in the remaining programs in order to receive credit. Program outlines can be downloaded at www.betasigmaphi.org using your e-mail address and member number. Scrapbook and Yearbook committees are optional as e-mails help to keep these activities and records along with social media like facebook and instagram. Book Club - Members share lists and descriptions of books they have read and think other members would be interested in. |
